"The Beginning of the End"

First: Weak opening scene. In comparison with the seasons 2 and 3 were given relatively little, because, unfortunately, has been missing the big bang.

Hurley has a flash-forward, so he is able also on the island. He describes himself as one of the "Oceanic 6", which apparently means that a total of only 6 people are "saved." With Jack, Kate and Hurley we know now 3 of them.
The plot in Hurley's FFW is interesting on two points.
First, he has visions in which he considers the dead Charlie. That there is indeed only visions that Hurley imagines Charlie and the dead lived not again walk around in the area, should be clear. Especially since we know that Hurley also earlier Dave had imagined, and the visions also appeared very real. I also think it is obvious that the visions are the cause of Charlie, Hurley and therefore escapes the beginning of the episode and why he can commit himself again to the asylum.
And then he gets a visit from a representative of Oceanic (at least he pretends to be such), an interest it has to find out if "you" are still alive. The question of Hurley's visions, and Jack's desire to return to the island, everything hangs together somehow. It is my opinion, it must be assumed that the Losties know yet much about the island and the Others, decide only some, and still return bereuhen that decision later. That is also what is not to say Hurley, stating that the alleged Oceanic man asks. The 6 rescued know the secrets of the island, and have promised to keep it for themselves.

Which brings me directly to the island and act on the Freighter. That the "rescuers" are not the ones to be it is pretending now well clear. The only question is who are they and what they want to (or from) the island. There might be the next episode information.
really interesting on the island is really only Hurley's visit to Jacob's cabin. First, the voices from Season 1 are again heard, this time in connection with Jacob, and then it is also very interesting that Hurley sees Christian Shephard aka Jack's Daddy sit in the hut. There is no reason to believe that Jacob is Christian, but whose appearance in the cabin is remarkable, especially since it's Hurley, who sees him and not Jack. So I hope even more information in Season 4, and I am afraid that the things are not produced for the second Half of the season were provided.

The scenes with Hurley and Claire were moving, but very well to mourn for Charlie. I did not think that it is Charlie's death that the Losties split in "Group Jack" and "Locke group," which will probably provide even greater pressures for each other. Above all, I see black for Kate and Sawyer ..

took the rest of the episode I do not particularly interesting, the stuff with Naomi was unnecessary and it was not really unexpected. Basically a solid start to the season, with much upside potential.
